Cuba (2021)

Date of issue: 2021
Name of issue: Aracnidos endémicos de Cuba (Endemic arachnids of Cuba)
Number of arachnid related stamps in issue: 7/7

I never thought this would happen, but this is the ultimate arachnid series. There are seven stamps showing seven arachnid orders!

Well kind of, the souvenir sheet has a uropygi on it, but not on the actual stamp. However, that stamp has fake perforation, so I decided to cheat and count it as a whole stamp. The fake perforation is extremely disappointing to say the least.

Who could have said that one day, there would be a ricinulei stamp! That means schizomida and palpigradi are the only arachnid order to have never been presented on some postal material.

Unfortunately, horrible photographs were used instead of artwork. Very disappointing, this series could have become my all time favorite. Still, credit is due to show us such diversity.
