Number of arachnid related stamps in issue: 7/189?
Another never ending series with tons of sheets. I had seen this one listed on a German dealer website. It was listed as frogs and scorpions. I could not understand why as the theme of the stamps is clearly frogs. I finally found a higher quality scan and discovered there is a scorpion at the tip of the African continent on the map. On the last stamp, the scorpion is partially hidden by the frog.
Anyhow, since I am also fascinated by frogs, I did not mind so much aquiring this series. Also note that there is a Pompilidae stamp on a different sheet.
