Canada (1990)

Date of issue: July 12th, 1990
Number of arachnid related stamps in issue: 0/4

OK, some say I am exagerating with this one! Anyhow, I guess I am just sad that my own country will not acknowledge our arachnid fauna. This is the closest to a Canadian arachnid stamp there is, a fossil of Eurypterus remipes (sea scorpion), a chelicerate (not an arachnid though).

Canada (1997)

Date of issue: October 1st, 1997
Name of issue: The Supernatural
Number of arachnid related stamps in issue: 0/4

At last, I found a Canadian series with something arachnid related to it. This is a great looking series about supernatural creatures. On the full sheet, in the lower right corner, there is a spider web.

Michel #: 1643 - 1646
category: Web only

The full sheet comes in a folder showing an old house. Through the windows, you can see each of the four stamps showing through the holes.

And the interior unfolds and gives some information in French and English about those supernatural beings!
