I always thought this series was cinderella, I found it highly suspicious, based primarly on the horrible quality of the art work and the  poor quality of the "deluxe" version. But I was wrong, apparently there is a catalogue number assigned to these stamps. This series is also available as imperforated.

This is the deluxe imperforated version... that looks like it could have been printed in someone's basement! You have to feel the paper in your hand to get the full picture of how cheap this series feel. There is also another somewhat "super deluxe" version, but it is a little too much money for my budget!

A great improvement recently in the African issues, switching from the photographic mess of 2019 and moving on with some great art work. 

I am presuming these are original drawings from descriptions. They are all species that have been described a long time ago. The artworks all have distinct look. I really enjoy this series.

African stamps are often all similar for the same year, all printed at the same place. It is quite boring actually, just mass production for thematic collectors. You can see similar series from Chad and Togo.
