Name of issue: Endemic spiders species of Yemen
Number of arachnid related stamps in issue: 7/7
One strange thing I notice on this issue is that it is listed as being issued in 2004, but the date on all the stamps is 2005.
Even though the art work is not really impressive in this series, they at least made the effort to show endemic species. Too many countries produce stamps with arachnids originating from other countries, I never understood the reasonning behind this.
It is just too bad they had to use the same species twice for the souvenir sheet, we all know a worthy species that should have been there... Monocentropus balfouri!
